This policy explains what personal data is handled when you enquire about or purchase a VPSWala service, and what you can ask us to do about it. What we collect
- Account and billing data: name, company name, billing address, email address, phone number, GSTIN where supplied, and payment records. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Enquiry data: whatever you send through the contact form, WhatsApp or email, including the technical details of your workload.
- Service data: the IP addresses allocated to you, provisioning records, support tickets and correspondence.
- Operational logs: authentication events to the client area, and network flow and abuse-related records retained for security and for compliance with applicable law.
We do not access the contents of your virtual machine in the ordinary course. Access occurs only where you request it for support, or where it is necessary to respond to a security incident or a lawful order.
Why we hold it
To provide and support the service you ordered, to invoice you and meet tax and accounting obligations, to secure the platform and investigate abuse, and to respond to your enquiries. Service notices are sent because they are necessary to the contract, not for marketing.
Who it is shared with
The StreamData Networks billing and client-area platform, operated by the same group; the payment gateway that processes your payment; the network and facility providers that carry and house the infrastructure; and any authority to whom disclosure is legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Where it is held
Infrastructure serving VPSWala customers is located in India, at the Mumbai, Noida and Jaipur nodes. Supporting services such as email delivery may process data outside India under their own terms.
How long
Billing and tax records are retained for the period required by Indian tax law. Support correspondence and operational logs are retained for 12 months. Data inside a terminated virtual machine is deleted in accordance with the terms of service after service end.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to processing in defined circumstances. Write to sales@awdhpl.com with Privacy request in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.
